THE GREEN DOOR
I am so happy that the weather is beginning to warm up a bit. The weather we had yesterday was amazing, I mean it was almost perfect! I could have used a bit more sun, but I digress no complaints over here I am thankful for it.
So, what do you do when you’ve been locked up inside all winter long with no work life balance? be spontaneous and create some fun of course. I met with a very tall, a very beautiful and a very hilarious and more spontaneous person than me, a good friend of mine and my photographer for the day Alexis but goes by Lexxy.
It was great catching up with her since I haven’t seen her in forever and a day, we painted all of Franklin Avenue red. If you’re from Brooklyn, New York you know that Franklin is Becoming a dope spot to hangout. There is no need to venture over the bridge anymore, I have Found so many cute eatery as well as happy hour spots that I will visit more of if the weather permits me to.

I’ve been obsessed with leather accents this winter more than ever. I’ve stayed away from leather when I lost my favorite leather bomber jacket from urban outfitters at a fashion show that I was apart of, where I supplied rocawear clothing (I used to be an intern for rocawear). After the show I was in a rush to leave that I left my jacket behind and it hasn’t been the same for me and my leather love. But, It’s a different love affair now, I cannot get enough of it.
I wanted to share with you all my recent purchase from Shoedazzle while my excitement is still fresh.
Being that summer is around the corner, you know what that means? Yes, it’s sandal season! I love a great pair of cute and stylish sandals, especially when they’re affordable and easy on my pockets.
I found these babies online at Shoedazzle, and I must say, I’m in love with them. However, I do recommend that you go a half-size up if you have wide feet like me. I love these sandals because I can wear them with a several outfits in my closets. They’re perfect for maxi dress/skirts, cut off shorts, and skinny jeans.
STUD ME CRAZY
I spent the weekend in Connecticut with my best friend, and it was nice to spend some much needed quality time together just laughing, reconnecting, and having a good time. It made me fall in love all over again with our friendship, and I realized how much I appreciate her. I think we should always take the time out to simply cherish our best friends and let them know what they truly mean to us.
And I couldn’t end this weekend without snapping some flicks, photos courtesy of my best friend.

My Jewelry Display
Yes! It’s about time that I organize some of my Jewelry starting with my big statement pieces- my necklaces. Working in a accessories store I’ve accumulated a lot of jewelry that is now spilling over in my Jewelry case. I got the idea from, Wendyslookbook while I was on youtube. I thought It was such a creative and neat way to stay organize, and to keep your Jewelry from tarnishing. Thanks Wendy =).
Shout out to my cousin Nickisha for my unexpected, yet awesome christmas gift.
It’s the last Friday of the year * Bap Bap* And as I wrtie this post I cannot help but reflect on the roller coaster of a year I had. I became a born again christian (a life changing experience). A lot of friendships were killed and A few new ones were born (which I’m very thankful for). Cheers to the people who are still here with me, see you next year. Thank You 2011 for the ride.
